Music Design Projects

Dean Edgecombe & The Seventh Sons
Promotional material commissioned by local Canberra based Blues & Jazz band. Package included two pull up banner designs, a backdrop piece and upcoming performance posters to be placed in venues that hosted them. Client came with an existing idea for visual style which i then translated into the banners and poster respectively. All designs were purely illustration based which is what the client desired and their feedback favoured the final products which gets shown off at every performance.

Riders on the storm, Doors tribute band
Promotional band material commissioned by a member of 'riders on the storm' Doors tribute band. Package included a single banner design, typographic work, social media material and upcoming performance posters. Client gave me full creative freedom with the design, so did some research on the doors design and decided to use their main vocalist as the main subject matter along with elements i found on many of their album artworks. I kept the consistency by using the same fonts and visual styles that adhered to the decade of the bands time and that led to the final product design.
Eric Clapton & Doors tribute night
Promotional material for a joint tribute band event. package includes a venue poster and graphics for social media and ticketing pages. I used material from a previous similar event material as a base for my design, added in elements related to the artists that the bands are covering. I kept a consistent style between all graphics as they all represent the same event.
All Hail Apollo album art
Done as part of a school project in collaboration with one of the audio students. My role in the project included creating an artwork that would be used as album covers and online streaming graphics. My partner in the project specialised in electronic dubstep music with a lot of edgy elements and wanted the accompanying artwork to capture it. My final artwork contained both gothic and psychedelic elements that fi with the style of the final song that was showcased with my art piece.
